South African Delron Buckley took his tally to eight as he scored the only goal of the game in the seventh minute to give Arminia Bielefeld a narrow victory over Borussia Dortmund. Bielefeld are ninth in the table, with 17 points.
Malian midfielder Soumaila Coulibaly was also on target, scoring for Freiburg in their 4-1 defeat by Bayer Leverkusen. Freiburg's six defeats in twelve games leaves them 17th in the 18-team table.
In a game that pitted two Cameroonian defenders against each other - Raymond Kalla of Bochum and Lucien Mettomo of Kaiserslautern, it was a Congolese defender who opened the scoring. Herve Nzelo Lembi gave Kaiserslautern a first-half lead before Bochum drew level in the second period.

Gabonese striker Henri Antchouet is now the top scorer with eight goals thanks to his hat-trick for Belenenses in their 3-3 at Beira Mar on Saturday.

It goes without asking these days that Samuel Eto'o was on the score sheet for Barcelona on Saturday.
Cameroon's 2003 African Footballer of the Year scored his ninth league goal with a first-half winner as Barca came from behind to beat visiting Deportivo la Coruna 2-1. The goal was a simple tap-in from close range in the 35th minute and leaves Barcelona seven points clear at the top of La Liga.
England
South African Shaun Bartlett enjoyed mixed fortunes on Saturday as he scored with a deft volley and a diving header before being sent off for deliberate handball in the second half.
In his absence, Charlton's three-goal was cut down to just one but Bartlett's team held on for a 3-2 away victory.

Pius Ikedia of Nigeria scored the third goal for RBC Roosendaal just before the hourmark as his side beat De Graafschap 3-0.
Ghanaian Matthew Amoah scored the winning goal for Vitesse Arnhem in the lone goal victory over NEC Nijmegen.

Guinean midfielder Pascal Feindouno was the hero for St Etienne in their 2-1defeat of Nice. Feindouno gave St Etienne a 25th-minute lead from the penalty spot, which was cancelled out by Nigerian striker Victor Agali's fifth of the season just three minutes later. Yet Feindouno was not to be denied a match-winning goal as he fired home in the last minute of normal time to settle the match.
Malian striker Mamadou Bagayoko scored his fourth goal for Nantes from a free-kick, giving his side the lead just before half-time in a 1-1 draw with Auxerre.
Jaouad Zairi's first goal of the season lifts Sochaux to fourth

Moroccan midfielder Jaouad Zairi came on as a second-half substitute to score Sochaux's second goal, and his first of the season, in the 2-0 win over Caen. After their first away win, Sochaux now lie fourth with 21 points.
Also with 21 points are fifth-placed Monaco who drew 2-2 at home with Ajaccio.
Sierra Leonean striker Mohamed Kallon scored Monaco's second in the 78th minute from the penalty spot when he himself had been brought down after dribbling the keeper. Yet Kallon's sixth goal of the season was wiped out in injury time as Algerian Abdelnasser Ouadah fired home a dramatic equaliser.
Nigeria's Peter Osaze Odemwingie had good reason to celebrate at the weekend after scoring his first Ligue 1 goal for Lille in their 2-0 victory at Istres.

Nigerian Patrick Ogunsoto scored both goals in the second half for Ergotelis who defeated ten-man PAOK Saloniki 2-0.
