Zimbabwe go out of the tournament but can be proud of themselves for sticking at the task in hand and scoring three goals against the defending champions. The Indomitable Lions' second performance at Tunisia 2004 was far more impressive than their first.
1718: The fourth official signals three minutes of stoppage time.
1716: GOAL Cameroon 5-3 Zimbabwe
Esrom Nyandoro lifts the Zimbabwe supporters with a stunning right-foot drive that flies past Kanemi into the roof of the net. The cleanly-hit strike is one of the goals of the tournament so far.
1713: Daniel Ngom Kone comes on for Cameroon in place of Geremi.
1711: Eto'o bursts down the right flank but greedily goes for goal himself from a narrow angle, when it was easier to cut the ball back to Idrissou.
1710: Cameroon's Bill Tchato is booked for a late challenge.
1709: The sting has gone out of the game as Cameroon are happy to knock the ball around and simply retain possession.
1706: Zimbabwe win a corner having threatened the Cameroon goal little of late.
1703: Substitution for Cameroon as Valery Mezague replaces Makoun.
1702: Eto'o rattles the bar with a crisp right-foot strike from a tight angle. Despite Cameroon's six goals in the tournament, the striker is still seeking his first.
1700: Eto'o slices a volley high and wide at the back post after a great ball into the box from Makoun.
1658: Schaefer also changes his side, taking off Patrick Mboma and bringing on Mohamadou Idrissou who started the game against Algeria only to be dropped for this tie.
1658: Zimbabwe coach Sunday Marimo makes the first substitution of the game as he brings on Adam Ndlovu, Peter's brother.
1655: An unbowed Luphahla takes the game to Cameroon as he dribbles into the penalty box but his low cross is well cut out by Kameni.
1654: GOAL Cameroon 5-2 Zimbabwe
Modeste Mbami scores a fine solo goal as he picks up the ball 25 yards out, kills it with his first touch and blasts home from outside the box, with the ball clipping the underside of the bar as it goes in. The goal is Mbami's second of the game.
1652: GOAL Cameroon 4-2 Zimbabwe
Mboma scores his hat-trick with a brilliantly-executed goal. After playing in left-winger Atouba down the left, the veteran striker drives forward into the box to turn home Atouba's cross from close range. Mboma moves clear on four goals at the top of the goalscoring charts.
1651: The game enters a quiet period as both teams set about looking for the all-important next goal of the game.
1645: Geremi clips a curling free-kick just past the left-hand post.
1643: Mboma is fouled on the edge of the Zimbabwean penalty area, gifting the Indomitable Lions a free-kick within striking range of goal.
1641: Kameni acrobatically punches clear Luphahla's cross into the box. Zimbabwe retain possession and win a corner.
1639: Zimbabwe threaten down the left but the cross into the box is headed clear by Song. The goal has clearly lifted the Warriors' confidence.
1634: GOAL Cameroon 3-2 Zimbabwe
Ndlovu beats Kameni to the keeper's right with a fine spot-kick, and so becomes the joint top goal scorer in the tournament with three goals.
Song concedes a penalty as be brings down Joel Luphahla in the area.
1633: To a background of trumpets and in front of a large Sousse crowd, Cameroon kick off the second half.
1616: The referee blows for half-time with reigning champions Cameroon well on top of Zimbabwe, who are playing only their second match ever in the Cup of Nations.
1615: Cameroon almost score their fourth but Murambadoro blocks Eto'o's close-range effort. The Indomitable Lions are getting behind the Warriors' defence at will.
1613: GOAL Cameroon 3-1 Zimbabwe
Djemba heads Geremi's deep corner back across goal where Mboma flicks out a foot from two yards to score his second of the match.
1612: Cameroon continue to press and win yet another corner.
1608: GOAL Cameroon 2-1 Zimbabwe
Modeste Mbami runs from inside his own half, plays a fine one-two with Mboma just outside the box and slips the ball past Murambadoro for Cameroon's second goal in eight minutes.
1607: Zimbabwe striker Mugeyi runs at the Cameroon defence before striking a fine left-footed shot from outside the box which goes narrowly past Kameni's right-hand post.
1604: Cameroon are camped in the Zimbabwe half as they push for a second goal.
1603: Eto'o has a more orthodox strike but his right-foot shot from an angle goes wide of the goal.
1600: GOAL Cameroon 1-1 Zimbabwe
From the corner, Djemba volleys Geremi's corner back into the box where Patrick Mboma swivels to fire left-footed into the roof of the net from 8 yards out. Eto'o claims a touch off his shoulder but the goal is given to Mboma.
1559: Murambadoro makes a brilliant save to deny Makoun's close range effort after Eto'o tees up the shot.
1556: Cameroon's Makoun blazes a shot from ten yards over the bar as finds a bit of room in the box.
1554: Concern for Zimbabwe as Peter Ndlovu takes a knock as he clashes with Cameroon's Rigobert Song as both players contest a high ball. As Ndlovu is stretchered off the pitch, Song goes over to make sure the Zimbabwean is alright. Ndlovu soon returns to action.
1553: Atouba glances another Cameroon corner wide of the post, as a disgruntled Roger Milla looks on from the stands.
1552: Geremi whips in another ball which is headed behind for Cameroon's second corner of the match which, like their first, comes to nothing.
1550: Geremi plays a delightful through ball to Eto'o but as the Cameroonian goes for the ball, he clashes with Zimbabwe keeper Energy Murambadoro. The 21-year-old stopper is quickly back on his feet.
1547: Cameroon continue to threaten the Zimbabwe defence but their final ball into the box, as shown by Jean Makoun's lofted ball, needs to improve.
1545: Cameroon midfielder Eric Djemba tries to pick out Samuel Eto'o in the Zimbabwe box but his cross drops just in front of the Indomitable Lions striker.
1542: A Zimbabwe free-kick is delivered across the Cameroon six yard box but not one player can get his head to the ball.
1541: Indomitable Lions coach Winfried Schaefer looks relaxed, despite Zimbabwe's lead, as he stands outside the Cameroon dugout.
1537: GOAL Cameroon 0-1 Zimbabwe
Wilfred Mugeyi delivers a teasing ball into the box which Peter Ndlovu gets up well to head past the onrushing Cameroon keeper Carlos Kameni. The attack was the Warriors' first of the match.
1535: Atouba heads powerfully against the bar after a long throw from Geremi.
1534: Atouba plays in striker Samuel Eto'o on the edge of the penalty box, but the Zimbabwe danger quickly smother the danger.
1532: Cameroon's Timothee Atouba wins a free-kick in a dangerous position. Geremi's delivery is poor though and the chance is wasted.
1529 GMT: Zimbabwe get the match in Sfax underway.
Cameroon line up without defender Lucien Mettomo who has been dropped. Timothee Atouba starts the game having come on against Algeria as a subtitute.
Jean Makoun also comes into the starting line-up, dropping into the hole behind Samuel Eto'o and Patrick Mboma in a 3-5-2 formation.
Zimbabwe will be relying on inspirational captain Peter Ndlovu for goals in what will be a tricky encounter for the Warriors. Forward Agent Sawu has been dropped.
Kaitano Tembo is another player who coach Sunday Marimo has left out the side, with Dixon Choto coming in to replace him.
