The DR Congo's English coach Mick Wadsworth has named his 22-player squad for the Cup of Nations in Tunisia.
Newcastle's Lomana Lua Lua to lead the DR Congo at the Nations Cup
Newcastle striker Lomana Lua Lua has been named as the Simbas' captain for the competition.
Lua Lua is one of 16 foreign-based players on the list.
The captain and six other players from European sides have yet to catch up with their team mates, who are currently in Cairo.
The DR Congo will head from Egypt to Tunis on 19 January.
Wadsworth's team is in Group A alongside hosts Tunisia, Rwanda and Guinea - against whom the Simbas will play their first game on 25 January at the El Menzah stadium in Tunis.
