Zimbabwe midfielder Fungai "Tostao" Kwashi has been sacked by his English amateur club Gravesend and Northfleet for breaching club discipline.
Manager Andy Ford said the decision to part company with Kwashi was taken because the player had stepped out of line "not once, but three or four times".
The former Zimbabwean U-23 player incensed club officials last season when he travelled to Ireland at short notice for trials with St Patrick's.
However, Ford stood by him because "there were problems with his passport and international clearance".
But the Conference side's manager said player had failed to justify the faith placed in him, both on and off the field.
Despite being Gravesend and Northfleet's third highest scorer last season, Kwashi was also their most ill-disciplined player as he picked up red and yellow cards on a regular basis.
Just turned 23, Kwashi is viewed as a future national team player but critics say his record of bad behaviour may ruin all that.
Kwashi was called up to join the Warriors in camp for their last two matches.
