Beye seals Marseille move
Habib Beye
Beye leaves Strasbourg for $1.3m
Senegalese international Habib Beye is on his way to Olympique Marseille in a move worth $1.36m.

The 25-year-old defender, who had been with Racing Strasbourg, flew to Marseille on Tuesday to agree terms with the Southern France club.

His former club president Egon Dorf announced late on Tuesday that a deal had been reached between the two clubs.

Beye is thought to have signed a three-year deal after five years at Strasbourg where he made 114 appearances.

"I think it's a solution that suits everyone," Beye said.

"For me I think this transfer will benefit my career."

Beye could make his debut against AJ Auxerre at the stade Velodrome this weekend.
