Togo star faces Metz query
FC Metz coach Jean Fernandez is angry with Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor.

The striker did not report for Wednesday's training session with the French club, after travelling home for a Nations Cup qualifier against Kenya, which they won 2-0.

International colleague Agassa Kossi, who was also a part of Togo's squad against Kenya, returned promptly to Metz.

"I've had enough [of Adebayor's behaviour]," said a livid Fernandez.

"I have brought him into my office 25 times to explain to him that football is a team sport.

"But this kid still does not understand."

The 19-year-old Adebayor signed a three-year contract with Metz earlier this month.

He scored 13 goals for Metz last season.
