Eto'o hits Real Madrid


Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o Fils scored the third for Mallorca in their 5-1 away win at Real Madrid, a result which keeps Real Sociedad and Deportivo La Coruna in with a big chance of the championship.


Ghana's Sammy Kuffour scored a late goal to give Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich a 1-0 win over Kaiserslautern. It wasn't his best goal though, as it went in off his thigh.

Second placed Stuttgart also beat Hanover 2-1, thanks to two goals from South African born Sean Dundee.

Guinea's Pablo Thiam also scored twice in three minutes for Wolfsburg, in a 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund.


Ghana's Matthew Amoah hit the back of the net twice, securing a vital 3-1 win against NAC for relegation threatened Vitesse Arnhem.

Morocco's Ali Elkhattabi scored AZ Alkmaar's second goal in their 2-2 away draw at PSV Eindhoven, while Tunisia's Hatem Trabelsi also helped himself to a goal, as Ajax thrashed RKC 6-1.

Morocco's Tarik Sektioui got a consolation goal for Willem II in their 5-1 home drubbing by Heerenveen, while compatriot Said Boutahar scored the first for Excelsior as they came back from a 3-0 deficit to draw level, only to lose to De Graffschap in injury time.


Leaders Club Brugge dropped points at home for only the second time this season.

They were held to a 1-1 draw by St. Truiden, with Rwanda's Desire Mbonabucya getting a late goal for the visitiors.

DR Congo's Patrick Dimbala scored for Gent in their narrow 3-2 win over Westerlo and Guinea's Ibrahima Yattara scored the first for Antwerp in their 3-1 win over Beveren.

Ivory Coast's Giles Yapi-Yapo got Beveren's consolation goal.

Genk put five past Lierse, with Burkina Faso's Moumouni Dagano scoring their last goal.

But the Ivorian duo of Aruna Kone and Adolph Tohoua each scored for Lierse to make the defeat slightly more respectable.


There was another goal for Guinea's up and coming star Foday Mansare. He scored a penalty for Montpellier in their 1-0 win over Nantes.

DR Congo's Shabani Nonda is the joint top scorer in the top division, after scoring his 20th goal of the season against against Monaco.


Despite a goal from Nigeria's Obafemi Martins, Inter Milan lost ground on leaders Juventus, after drawing 1-1 with Atalanta.
