Ajax sanction Mido
Mido has scored 18 goals for Ajax this season
Mido has had several problems with the Ajax manager
Ajax Amsterdam coach Ronald Koeman has consigned Egyptian striker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam to the club's youth team.

In a statement by the club, 'disciplinary reasons' were cited as the reason for Koeman's decision.

Mido has had several public arguments with the Ajax manager.

The Cairo-born striker, who turns 20 next week, has scored 18 goals in 36 matches this season.

But he missed Tuesday's Uefa Champions League 1-1 draw with Arsenal through injury.

Mido, regarded by many as Egypt's brightest talent, has scored 10 goals in 23 appearances for his country.
