Morocco name foreign legion
Abdeslam Ouaddou
Ouaddou keeps his place - but Hadji and El Khalej do not

Morocco coach Badou Zaki has named a total of 15 foreign-based players in his squad to play Senegal in a friendly in Paris on 12 February.

Included are two Portugal-based players - Ali El Omari from Gil Vicente and Penafiel's Nabil Baha - who are called up for the first time.

The call-up for the duo follows a trip to Portugal by Zaki to watch them in action last month.

Zaki also travelled to Spain where he saw Samir Boughanem of Racing Ferrol and Mohammed 'Moha' El Yagoubi from Osasuna.

The rest of the squad is yet to be named.

Zaki left out Moustapha Hadji and Adil Ramzi, two of Morocco's more prominent footballers.

Hadji has seen little English Premiership action for Aston Villa this season.

Talal El Khalej, who recently moved to Charlton Athletic in London on a free transfer from Southampton, was also left out.

The match in France is a warm-up for a vital Nations Cup qualifier away in Freetown, Sierra Leone on 29 March.

Morocco's foreign legion:

Nouredine Naybet - Deportivo La Coruna (Spain)
Talal El Karkouri - Sunderland (England)
Abdelilah Fahmi - Lille (France)
Samir Boughanem - Racing Ferrol (Spain)
Mohammed 'Moha' El Yagoubi - Osasuna (Spain)
Abdelilal Saber - Napoli (Italy)
Tarik Chihab - FC Zurich (Switzerland)
Houalid Regragui - Ajaccio (France)
Abdelkrim Kassi - FC Rubin Kazan (Russia)
Mourad Hdioued - Litex-Lovech (Bulgaria)
Ali El Omari - Gil Vicente (Portugal)
Nabil Baha - Penafiel (Portugal)
Jaouad Zairi - Sochaux (France)
Fouzi El Brazi - FC Twente (Netherlands)
Abdeslam Ouaddou - Fulham (England)
