Baya returns to Etoile
Zoubeir Baya
Baya retired after the World Cup
Former Tunisia midfielder Zoubeir Baya has returned to Tunisian league side Etoile Sahel after a short spell in the United Arab Emirates.

Baya headed to the Middle East following Tunisia's disappointing World Cup campaign, after which he quit the Carthage Eagles having scored 18 goals in 81 games.

He had previously spent a season with Turkish club Besiktas, after moving in 2001 from German side FC Freiburg.

Baya had a spectacularly successful time when first at Etoile, winning four league titles with the club.
