Hadji completes Villa move
Mustapha Hadji and Hassan Kachloul
Hadji will join Hassan Kachloul at Villa Park
Aston Villa have completed the signing of Morocco international Mustapha Hadji from Coventry in a $6.3m swap with Julian Joachim.

Hadji signed a four-year contract with Villa, who will pay Coventry an extra $2.8m on top of Joachim's valuation.

Joachim's move is still subject to a routine medical test at Coventry.

Hadji trained with the Villa squad on Friday but will not be available for the club's opening Intertoto Cup game next week.

I can't wait to get started and focus on my football - I've got a good feeling about this season with Villa
  Mustapha Hadji

His arrival at Villa Park comes just two weeks after boss John Gregory signed another Morocco international, Hassan Kachloul, from Southampton on a free transfer.

Hadji said on the Aston Villa website he was looking forward to the new challenge at Villa park.

"I just want to concentrate on Aston Villa now. It hasn't been an easy summer, because of the uncertainty over my future.

"But now I can turn the page and look to the future with Villa. I'm looking forward to working with John Gregory and the players and it's fantastic to have Hassan here as well.

"I can't wait to get started and focus on my football. I've got a good feeling about this season with Villa."
