Not very many Premier League casualties in this competition so far are there? All the more reason to make sure you're back here tomorrow for the Leeds-Arsenal match, with me once again as your host. That one has got 'Potential Cupset' written very lightly in highly-erasable crayon all over it. Until then, goodnight.

2229: MAN CITY 4-2 LEICESTER
Phil Dawkes reports: "Leicester fought to the end and can be rightly proud of their performance, but in the end Man City's extra class showed and they passed a late test of nerves to go through."

2227: CARDIFF 0-2 STOKE
David Dulin reports: "After 90 painful minutes, Jon Walters spared us penalties with two extra-time goals to send Stoke through. Cardiff should have had two penalties in normal time though."

2225: WOLVES 5-0 DONCASTER
Jonathan Stevenson reports: "Job done for Wolves - though they almost certainly didn't deserve to win by five goals. I say almost, because I still haven't seen a second of it. Thems the breaks."

2222: It'll be Wolves v Stoke in the FA Cup fourth round, then. That leaves Leeds-Arsenal as the only unresolved tie of the round and that Elland Road match-up tomorrow promises to be an absolute cracker.

2217: Fine exhibition of keep-ball football from Stoke at the moment, they're seeing this out ever so comfortably.

2216: Almost 3-0 Stoke at Cardiff, Tom Soares lobbing over the keeper and narrowly wide from the edge of the area.

Stoke goal: That should seal it. Jon Walters is the difference again, the Stoke frontman recovering the ball well after his initial shot is blocked and then sliding in from the tightest of angles to double the visitors' lead.

2156: Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson following his side's 4-2 defeat by Man City: "We can be proud of the performance today. We have shown in these two games that we can play football and stand up to physically strong teams. The rest of the season will be about that."

2155: No great response from Cardiff City against Stoke just yet, though Lee Naylor has just fired just a few feet wide with a left-footed spank from 25 yards.

Football League Danny: "So, in League One, Bournemouth caretaker boss Lee Bradbury's first match ended in a 0-0 home draw against Rochdale. The Cherries would have gone second with a win, good point for mid-table Dale. It was a brilliant 3-1 win for Plymouth at MK Dons - only the home side's second loss of the season at Stadium:MK. The Pilgrims now seven points clear of the drop zone. Bristol Rovers still can't buy a win - will it cost more than a Penney (that's a Dave Penney new Rovers boss reference)? It ended 0-0 against Hartlepool, the Pirates are in trouble no doubt. In League Two, Shrewsbury's win at Accrington sees them into sixth and massively in the play-off mix. And Aldershot beat Bradford 1-0. Shots up to 16th."

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium: "It's all gone quiet here. Cardiff felt they should have had a stoppage time penalty when Chopra was fouled in the box - and then within 90 seconds of the restart, Jon Walters has put Stoke ahead. Cardiff will be right to feel aggrieved, but at least we've had a goal here."

2149: Chance for Jon Walters to double Stoke's lead as the visitors break two-on-one from a Cardiff attack, but he dallies too long and sees his shot blocked cutting in from the left.

Stoke goal: An appalling first 90 minutes... brilliant first minute of extra time. Jon Walters breaks the deadlock for Premier League Stoke, flashing in a fine near-post header from Michael Tonge's corner.

2144: A reminder, then, that Man City go on to face Notts County in the next round. Wolves will face the winner of the Cardiff-Stoke tie.

Man City goal: And the hosts' break from that Leicester corner leads to Aleksandar Kolarov wrapping up Man City's progress to the fourth round, the Serbian full-back slamming low into the corner left-footed from 20 yards. Deserved.

2132: They said before the game that set-pieces might be their best hope to cause Manchester City problems... but the Foxes' latest - as they have been all night - is easily cleared by the hosts.

Gerard Holier Than Thou on 606: "The Cardiff v Stoke game is the worst game of football I've seen in my entire life. Can't they just go to penalties now and save us a load of bother?"

Football League Danny: "Here's a treat for fans of teams winning 3-1 away from home. It looks like the Pilgrims have the points in Milton Keynes. Chris Clarkhas put them 3-1 up on the MK Dons and some potentially vital points to push them clear of the bottom four are within grasp. Meanwhile, Mark Wright (not that one) has put Shrewsbury 3-1 up at Accrington."

2130: We're into the last five minutes at Eastlands. Time enough for more drama?

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium: "Both sides have used all their substitutes and we're into the last 10 minutes. I'm not a betting man but would put money on extra time. Knowing me though, we'll have a late winner."

Leicester City goal: There's plenty of sting in it now, though. Lloyd Dyer looks offside when Yuki Abe plays him through but nothing is given and the Foxes winger clips home to get the visitors right back in this match. Definitely game on.

2124: The sting looks to have been very much drawn from the Man City-Leicester City match, with the hosts happy to sit on their lead and the Foxes struggling to have any impact on the home defences.

2121: Disturbing scenes at the Cardiff City Stadium, with crowd disturbances behind one of the goals. Looks like some home fans may have infiltrated the Stoke supporters but it's hard to tell. The match carries on regardless, meanwhile.

Football League Danny: "Another one for Shrewsbury's James Collins, and the visitors now lead 2-1 at Accrington. The Shrews will move up to sixth if they hold on for a win, Accrington are very much in mid-table."

Wolves goal: It's becoming a rout at Molineux. Richard Stearman brings the ball out from the back and feeds Matt Jarvis on the run to fire past Neil Sullivan into the corner.

2116: Now then, a decent Lloyd Dyer break cutting in from the right earns Leicester a free-kick 25 yards out... but Martyn Waghorn's effort hits the wall and City are able to clear. Less than 20 minutes for the Foxes to pull a rabbit out of the hat now.

2113: Cardiff already feeling the benefit of Michael Chopra's presence up front, the hosts looking decidedly more threatening since his introduction.

Wolves goal: Kevin Doyle collects a pass down the Wolves left, cuts infield, twists this way and that to get past Sam Hird and fires in a shot which clips the inside of Neil Sullivan's right-hand post and settles in the back of the keeper's net. Game over.

Peter Murphy and Lubomir Michalik have put them into a 4-0 lead against Huddersfield and they're surely odds-on for making yet another visit to the final. It'll be their sixth visit, I reckon - but they've only got one win so far…"

Wolves goal: Doncaster can count themselves unlucky, but this might be game dead and buried. Wolves put together their first decent move of the second half and Ronald Zubar fizzes over a cross from the right that Geoffrey Mujangi Bia slams past Neil Sullivan - the 21-year-old's first goal for Wolves from about his sixth shot of the evening.

Missed penalty: Is that the fillip Leicester need? Jack Hobbs wipes Carlos Tevez out inside the box with the Argentine otherwise one-on-one - why the defender didn't get a card for it I don't know - but Foxes keeper Chris Weale keeps the visitors just two behind with a save with his feet from Tevez's penalty. Game on?

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium: "Second half is under way. Desperately need a goal to kick this game in to life. The only thing to give supporters something to cheer about was Stoke's Glenn Whelan kicking his own leg instead of the ball as he tried to clear it."

2059: Leicester are convinced they should have a penalty when Yuki Abe goes down under a challenge from James Milner in the box - but replays show referee Mark Halsey is absolutely spot on to rule Milner got the ball.

Football League Danny: "Fans of quick ripostes will enjoy Shrewsbury's James Collins' antics at Accrington. Less than three minutes after Terry Gornell put Stanley ahead, JC's levelled for the Shrews. It's 1-1."

2058: Man City almost catch Leicester cold on the break but first Adam Johnson's cross is half-cleared and then Carlos Tevez's effort from the edge of the area drifts over.

2056: Conversely, Doncaster have started the second half in terrific mood and they are so nearly on level terms against Wolves, James Coppinger's goalbound shot taking a deflection off Ronald Zubar and flying wide after a superb pass from John Oster.

2055: It's all rather sedate in the opening minutes of the second half at Eastlands, though Man City continue to dominate possession. No signs of a Leicester fightback...yet.

2052: Half a chance to break the deadlock in south Wales - but Ryan Shotton's header from a Stoke corner drifts harmlessly over. How desperately that game needs a goal...

2030: Great skill on the edge of the Man City box as Franck Moussa flicks the ball over a defender to earn himself some room - but his shot is sliced horribly and Joe Hart is able to collect easily.

2028: Bit of a lull at Wolves, but the hosts have just had a great chance to double their lead, Geoffrey Mujangi Bia shooting wide again after a lovely one-two with Karl Henry. Doncaster wanted a penalty after James Coppinger went down in the Wolves box soon after, but nothing doing there.

Man City goals: Two goals in 77 seconds and Man City have gone through the gears rather blooming quickly. First Patrick Vieira has the simple task of tapping in after David Silva's shot from Pablo Zabaleta's cut-back is only half cleared off the line...

and then Adam Johnson strides on to David Silva's pass behind a ridiculously high Leicester defensive line to slam home Man City's third of the night. Leicester shell-shocked.

2020: Leicester starting to enjoy a bit of possession again following a period of home domination, and there is plenty to suggest Man City might have to go through the gears tonight. Franck Moussa earns Leicester a corner...

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium: "It's fairly scrappy here, but Cardiff are just about edging this as we pass the midway point in the first half. Both dugouts busy with the instructions. A goal is needed. Parkin just been denied what looked a penalty under a challenge from Diao."

2015: Early forced change for Leicester, and it's goalscorer Paul Gallagher forced off the field with a knee injury. Franck Moussa is his replacement.

2013: Carlos Tevez to Adam Johnson, his cut back from the left finds Yaya Toure, whose low shot left-footed is smartly saved low down by his feet by Leicester keeper Chris Weale. The hosts bang on top now.

2012: Cardiff are enjoying the majority of possession over in South Wales but neither side seem willing to take a risk and commit men forward. It's very much a case of both sides cancelling each other out right now.

2010: It's your favourite graphic - and mine - it's the handbags graphic! Carlos Tevez and Richie Wellens square up and the former slaps the Leicester player's hand away... but it's all much ado about nothing and referee Mark Halsey contents himself with a quiet word with both.

2008: Over at Molineux, it's end-to-end stuff as both teams plough forward with refreshing abandon. Donny's front three are causing problems but Wolves could have added to their 1-0 lead twice already, with Geoffrey Mujangi Bia and Ronald Zubar both firing wide from decent openings.

Leicester goal: The hosts lead last just four minutes - and I think that might just be a fine decision from Mark Halsey, the referee taking his time before awarding a spot-kick when Lloyd Dyer goes down in the box under Patrick Vieira's late challenge. Paul Gallagher crashes home the penalty.

Man City goal: That's what £25.5m buys you. There's an inch of luck about it as Carlos Tevez bundles his way into the Leicester area courtesy of a bit of a bobble - but there's nothing fortunate about the finish, a thrash high into the Leicester net from 16 yards.

2000: GOALFLASH Man City 1-0 Leicester (Tevez)

1959: Air traffic control signals from Roberto Mancini on the Eastlands sidelines as he attempts to work some cohesion into his Man City side - it's just been a touch stuttering from them so far. They still look more than dangerous going forward, however, and Carlos Tevez is frustrated to see Yaya Toure's cross just elude his touch six yards out from goal.

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium: "Lively start and good atmosphere despite the ground not being full. Stoke captain Danny Higginbotham was the only survivor in the side from the weekend... but he's not there anymore. He's gone off injured, Michael Tonge is on."

1955: The first real chance at the Cardiff City stadium falls to the hosts, with Daniel Drinkwater stinging the palms of Stoke keeper Thomas Sorensen from the edge of the area.

1954: This Manchester City team, by the way, is the most expensively-assembled starting XI ever to feature in the FA Cup, apparently, at a total cost of £162m. It's still not enough to have attracted a capacity crowd at Eastlands - but those in situ are witnessing a very positive start from Leicester. Sven-Goran Eriksson will be very happy with this opening.

Wolves goal: Moments after Billy Sharp has a really good chance saved from point-blank range by home keeper Marcus Hahnemann, the hosts take the lead. Steven Fletcher pulls away from his marker to fire into the bottom corner from Stephen Hunt cross and it's 1-0.

1951: GOALFLASH Wolves 1-0 Doncaster (Fletcher)

1950: An encouraging start almost rendered meaningless by Adam Johnson, the winger set clear on goal by Carlos Tevez but firing nervously straight at Foxes keeper Weale.

1949: First chance at Eastlands - and it goes to Leicester. Lloyd Dyer's cross is nodded back into the danger zone by Steve Howard at the back post, but Andy King's shot on the turn is deflected over. From the resulting corner, Sol Bamba heads straight at Joe Hart. Encouraging start for the Foxes.

1947: We are officially up and running at Eastlands, the Cardiff City Stadium and Molineux.

1944: Here we go then folks... you ready?

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium reports: "Both managers have rung the changes for tonight's replay. Cardiff make six from the draw at Norwich and there is no Craig Bellamy, as expected, while Jon Parkin makes his home debut. Stoke captain Danny Higginbotham is the only survivor from the weekend win over Bolton as Tony Pulis opts for 10 changes, including a return from injury for Salif Diao. Only five subs on the Stoke bench too."

1939: WOLVES v DONCASTER
Jonathan Stevenson reports: "It's a much-changed Wolves team that welcomes Doncaster to Molineux - seven players start that were not in the XI for the first game 10 days ago, with Ronald Zubar, Jody Craddock, Steven Mouyokolo, Geoffrey Mujangi Bia, the aforementioned captain Karl Henry, David Jones and Kevin Doyle all included. Doncaster are a Martin Woods for Joseph Mills swap away from naming the side that drew 2-2 at the Keepmoat."

1937: MAN CITY v LEICESTER
Phil Dawkes reports: "Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has shown respect to Leicester by making just four changes from the side that beat Wolves 4-3 in Saturday's Premier League fixture. The changes see Patrick Vieira and James Milner come into midfield in place of Gareth Barry and Nigel de Jong; Joleon Lescott takes Kolo Toure's place in defence and David Silva is in for Edin Dzeko. Leicester are unable to call on the services of the on-loan Yakubu and so Steve Howard starts up front, in the only change from their 1-1 draw with Preston at the weekend."

1935: But here's one move that won't be happening - reports suggesting Leicester City would be signing former Arsenal and Barcelona favourite Thierry Henry are wide of the mark. "I would of course love to have Thierry Henry," Foxes boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has just told ESPN. "But no, there's no truth in it." Shame.

Football League Danny: "Not a whopper of a night, but still intrigue aplenty for Football League fans. In League One, Dave Penney aims to get his first win as boss of troubled Bristol Rovers as they host Hartlepool. Promotion hopefuls MK Dons test their credentials against struggling Plymouth, while Bournemouth begin the post-Eddie Howe era by aiming for a win at Rochdale - which will take them second. Current second-placers Huddersfield are at Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Final first leg (or JPTNFFL for short). In League Two, Accrington host play-off chasers Shrewsbury, while Aldershot host Bradford hoping to ease their 19th-placed nerves."

Phil Dawkes reports: "Two-and-a-half years after being told he wasn't a good enough manager for them and a week-and-a-bit after holding them to a 2-2 draw, Sven Goran Eriksson returns to Manchester City looking to right both wrongs. If his Leicester team play with the same enterprise at the Eastlands as they did in the original tie they may well pull of a shock. However, the odds remain stacked against them. Even if, as expected, Manchester City rotate their starting XI it is still likely to include a host of players who cost eight-figure fees. And with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini having played under Sven at both Lazio and Sampdoria they also have a man with added motive at the helm."

The Premier League side should find a place in their XI for influential captain Karl Henry, who hasn't started a game for nearly two months because of injury. Donny - the Arsenal of the Championship - will bring their usual brand of free-flowing football to Molineux, but they've only beaten Wolves once ever - in the old Division Three in October 1985."

BBC Sport's David Dulin at the Cardiff City Stadium reports: "Good friends Dave Jones and Tony Pulis meet up for the second time in 10 days with a place in the FA Cup fourth round at stake. It's a replay neither really wanted with the league their priorities and tough games coming up. Awaiting teams but Stoke are understood to be making up to 10 changes from the win at Bolton, while there will be no Craig Bellamy for Cardiff or new loan signing Jay Emmanuel-Thomas."
