The Irish FA wants £60,000 compensation from Uefa after the decision to play Northern Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifier in Serbia behind closed doors.

The ruling followed rioting by Serbian fans, which caused their match against Italy in Genoa to be abandoned.

An Irish FA delegation will meet with Uefa president Michel Platini in Geneva on Wednesday to discuss the issue.

Prior to Uefa's decision, many Northern Ireland fans had already booked flights to Belgrade and arranged accommodation.

The IFA is estimating that £60,000 will be needed to compensate Northern Ireland fans.
