Leicester City have signed Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Naughton on loan until January 2011.

The 21-year-old began his career at Sheffield United before joining Spurs for an undisclosed fee in July 2009.

England Under-21 international Naughton had a loan spell at Championship side Middlesbrough last season.

Naughton will be available for selection when the Foxes face ex-boss Nigel Pearson's Hull City at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile Thai investor Vichai Raksriaksorn has called for the Foxes to return to the Premier League this season.

Raksriaksorn, whose son Aiyawatt fronts the consortium which bought out Leicester in August, told BBC Radio Leicester: "I just told them, this year we need to go to the Premier League.

"I believe they have to work really hard and we have to support them. Whatever they need they should let us know and then we can get to the target that we want."

Sven Goran-Eriksson was appointed as Foxes manager on 3 October.

Leicester went on a tour of Thailand last week, when they secured a 2-0 win over the national side.

The Foxes are currently third from bottom in the Championship with eight points.
