St Paul's beat Bels to lift Upton Park Trophy

Upton Park Trophy 2010: Belgrave Wanderers v St Paul's
St Paul's got revenge on Bels after losing 2-0 to them in the 2008 final

St Paul's lifted the Upton Park Trophy on Saturday after the Jersey league champions beat their Guernsey counterparts Belgrave Wanderers 3-1.

Scott Devlin and Luke Watson gave the visiting side a two goal advantage before half time at the Track.

Twelve minutes into the second half, Sam Cochrane pulled a goal back, but Mark Lucas secured the win with St. Paul's third, eight minutes from time.

It was St Paul's fifth trophy of the current season.

If they win the Wheway Cup final they would become the first side in Jersey football history to win six trophies in one season.

St Paul's not only retained their Channel Island champions title but got their revenge on Bels who defeated them 2-0 in the 2008 final.

It was the 100th time an Upton Park final had been played.
