Runaway Ryman League leaders Dartford dropped their first away points of the season, losing 1-0 at Billericay.
Ryman South leaders Folkestone Invicta lost in the league for the first time since September as they were beaten 1-0 at Croydon Athletic, who go second.
The defeat cuts their lead to eight points but boss Neil Cugley did not complain after his side's recent form.
"I'm still proud of them, disappointed obviously but generally their attitude was spot on," he told BBC Radio Kent.
Cugley added: "I thought for most of the game we were as good as them and really I though it should have been a 0-0 game.
"I didn't feel we stopped the ball going in the box and that's the only thing I'm disappointed at, everything else we matched them."
Despite their first defeat in 15 games, midfielder Jimmy Jackson says it is still a nice position to be in.
"I don't think we're favourites, the pressure is on the other sides," he said.
"We're in a great position and maybe people at the club expect us to win certain games now but we've been playing so well that that's a good thing really."
Elsewhere in Ryman One South, Chatham Town lost 2-1 to Burgess Hill.
Thamesmead missed the chance to close the gap on the Ryman One North leaders as they lost 3-0 to Romford.
Kent League leaders Faversham are through to the League Cup semi-final with a 2-1 win at Erith & Belvedere to go through 5-2 on aggregate.
Lordswood finally got their first league win of the season, 4-1 over Sporting Bengal.
