Dominant Bels lift Rawlinson cup

Bels beat Northerners 5-0 in the semi-final, scoring 18 goals in the competition

Belgrave Wanderers have won the Rawlinson Cup final after a 5-2 victory over St Martins at the Cycling Ground on Saturday.

They scored highly throughout the tournament beating Northerners 5-0 in the semi-finals and Guernsey Athletics 8-3 in the previous round.

Bels lifted the cup for the fourth year in a row and are the only team to have retained the trophy.

Overall Bels scored 18 goals in the three games played in the competition.

Saints had reached the final after beating Rangers 2-0 in the semi-finals and Vale Recreation on penalties in the first round, after their match had finished 2-2.
