Bels hit 10 past hapless Rovers

Guernsey Rovers
Rovers now have a minus 79 goal difference after their latest loss

League leaders Belgrave Wanderers hit double figures against winless Rovers for the third time this season as they beat them 10-0 on Saturday.

Dave Rihoy hit four, Joby Bourgaize scored a hat-trick, while AJ Saunders scored twice and Paul Ramsden got the other to finish off the rout.

Bels stay a point clear of Northerners after they beat Guernsey Rangers 4-2 at St Andrews.

Rangers drop to fourth after St Martins beat Sylvans 3-1 at St Peter.

Bels have scored scored 31 goals in three games against Rovers, who have lost all 14 of their league matches this season.

And despite chalking up double figures, Bels boss Micky Ogier was unhappy that his side stopped at 10.

"7-0 at half time and to be honest I was hoping to get 15," he told BBC Guernsey.

"You always take it a bit easy when you're 7-0 up, some of the goals were nice goals and it was good work by the team," he added.
