Scottish clubs will have an extra few days to finalise any transfer dealings
The January transfer window in Scotland has been extended to stay open until 1700 GMT on Monday, 2 February.
"Leagues across Europe are moving their January transfer deadline so that it falls on a working day," said a Scottish FA spokesman.
"This is a decision that makes perfect sense for players, clubs and for those who administer the game."
SPL secretary Iain Blair added: "It can be a busy month and we will be geared up and ready to support or clubs."
It is the second time this season the SFA have followed the Football Association's lead by extending the transfer window after August's deadline was moved forward to 1 September.
