South West Peninsula League leaders Buckland Athletic lost for the second time in five days after going down 2-1 at Dartmouth on Wednesday night.
Buckland, who had gone 12 matches unbeaten, went behind to a 24th minute Chris Harrity free-kick.
John Rimmer doubled the Darts' advantage just before half-time with Gavin Hammon pulling a goal back 10 minutes after the restart.
Buckland are still a point clear at the top while Dartmouth are up to fourth.
But the leaders have now played two games more than second-placed Ivybridge Town and four more than third-placed Bodmin Town, who are a point further back.
