South West Peninsula League leaders Buckland Athletic saw their lead over champions Bodmin Town cut to two points after losing 3-0 to them on Saturday.
A brace from Steve Ovens put the home side in control before a third goal from Steve Colwell sealed the win.
Bodmin now have three games in hand on Buckland and two on second-placed Ivybridge Town.
Martyn Sullivan's hat-trick saw the Bridgers secure an important 3-1 win at fellow high-fliers Launceston.

Their loss allowed Plymouth Parkway to move up to fourth, just ahead of Launceston on goal difference.
Parkway scored two late goals to force a 3-3 draw at home to Witheridge.
Chris Wright had made it 3-2 after 85 minutes before Steve Johns secured a point for the Plymouth side with an equaliser in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
Elburton Villa stay bottom after getting only their second point of the season with a 2-2 draw at Tavistock on Friday evening.
Second-from-bottom Falmouth Town got their second win of the season to see them go five points clear of Elburton with a 3-1 win at home to Newton Abbot Spurs.
They are now level on points with Liskeard Athletic after they lost 2-1 at home to Holsworthy, who moved above them by a place with the win.
Elsewhere, Wadebridge won 3-1 at Clyst Rovers while there were 15 goals shared between the matches at Cullompton Rangers and St Blazey.
Saints were thrashed 7-1 at Baize Park by Torpoint Athletic for whom Adam Carter scored a hat-trick.
Cullompton lost 5-2 to Dartmouth for whom John Rimmer and Chris Harrity both scored twice.
