The Maradona Diaries
Diego Maradona has not lost the ability to surprise. The most famous Argentine on earth is taking over as coach of the national side.
Since his extraordinary and controversial playing career ended in 1997, Maradona has been treated for cocaine abuse and alcoholism, suffered two major heart attacks and undergone gastric bypass surgery.
It is, frankly, a miracle he is still alive, and he seems intent on making the most of his second chance.
