David Beckham has been lined up to play in an exhibition match for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy in Canada.
Beckham will join LA Galaxy in a deal reportedly worth £128m
The midfielder will join the club after the end of his current Real Madrid deal on 30 June, with the league season in the United States well under way.
Now the 31-year-old will also face Vancouver Whitecaps on 3 October.
"We are thrilled to bring such a highly-anticipated event to Vancouver this year," Whitecaps director Bob Lenarduzzi told his club's website.
He added: "The Galaxy boasts a star-studded roster, which includes David Beckham - one of the most recognisable celebrities in the world."
Beckham is currently returning to fitness at Real Madrid following a knee injury and, after resuming training, is likely to be involved in the end-of-season title battle in Spain.
