A quartet of England internationals have made the shortlist for Fifa's World Player of the Year awards.
Beckham and Lampard are two of four England players nominated
Midfielders David Beckham, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard are in line for the prestigious honour, alongside teenage striker Wayne Rooney.
The coaches and captains of every national team will cast their votes in the coming weeks.
The award, which was won last year by Barcelona's Ronaldinho, will be announced on 19 December in Zurich.
The list of 30 male players will initially be whittled down to three players, with their names being announced in late November or early December.
