Crewe striker Dean Ashton - who is set to join Norwich - is the Championship's player of the month for December.

Ashton scored four times as his side remained unbeaten during the month.

Hull's Northern Ireland winger Stuart Elliott is also recognised after firing his way to the top of the goalscoring charts in League One, where he has 23.

The League Two award goes to Yeovil midfielder Lee Johnson, who has starred as the leaders recorded five straight league wins during December.
