Genesis FC notched up an assured win at Lodge Farm in their first game using a Fair Trade match ball.
Towering striker Adrian Holland was a constant threat to the Markfield defence, scoring twice for the home side.
The game's opening goal came on 16 minutes when a swerving corner from Jez Cromie was slotted home by Mike Tyler.
Markfield nearly equalised a few minutes later, but were denied by the crossbar.
Then the dangerous Holland provided a moment of sublime skill, leaping clear to volley home a cross from the left flank on 40 minutes.
