Celtic want Miller fee
Celtic midfielder Liam Miller
Celtic's Liam Miller is bound for Man Utd
Celtic have not given up hope of winning compensation from Manchester United for Liam Miller.

It was assumed that because the player will be 23 when he moves under freedom of contract, Celtic would get nothing under new Fifa rules.

But Celtic believe Miller's move comes under the jurisdiction of the International Football League Board.

Its rules state that any player under 24 moving within Britain should command a fee.

The board is due to hear Celtic's case in relation to Colin Healy's move to Sunderland last summer, and Celtic believe the Miller scenario falls into the same bracket.

The IFLB was set up to rule on compensation for such moves, but Fifa has since lowered the age of out-of-contract players who can command a fee to 23.
