Hitzfeld is expected to leave Bayern at the end of the season

Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has admitted that English clubs have been in contact with him about possible managerial opportunities.
Although Hitzfeld is not naming the clubs who have spoken to him, Spurs are widely expected to be one of those involved.
"There are people from England who have called me to find out about my status," Hitzfeld told the Daily Express.
"But it is too early to comment on that now, it would be hypothetical."
Hitzfeld has had a disappointing season with Bayern so far and he is expected to leave at the end of the current campaign.
Last week, he was linked with the England job but he soon played down speculation about that.
Former Inter Milan coach Roy Hodgson has already admitted he would be interested in taking the Spurs job.
Lazio coach Roberto Mancini was also tipped as a serious contender for the job.
Spurs are keen to appoint a foreign coach to allow David Pleat to resume his role as director of football.
