Brentford 2-1 Kidderminster
Brentford progressed through to the Southern Section semi-final of the LDV Vans Trophy by edging out Kidderminster. The Bees opened the scoring after just five minutes when Scott Marshall headed home a Kevin O'Connor cross. The home side dominated the early proceedings and deservedly extended their lead after 25 minutes. O'Connor turned goalscorer and converted a fine strike from 15 yards after Jamie Fullerton unlocked the Harriers defence. Seven minutes after the break, Harriers pulled a goal back. Drewe Broughton headed home at the far post and four minutes later Harriers missed a golden opportunity to equalise when Sean Parrish somehow headed over from six yards. Ten minutes from time Kidderminster goalkeeper Stuart Brock made a fine save from substitute Jay Tabb. At the other end, Broughton headed over with six minutes remaining but the home side hung on for a deserved win.
