Exeter 0-3 Cardiff
All the action from the LDV Vans Trophy
Cardiff eased past Exeter in the LDV Vans Trophy with all three goals coming in the second half.

The Bluebirds, who made 11 changes, had the best early chance when Andy Campbell forced Kevin Miller to make a double save from close range.

Campbell had another good chance towards the end of a poor first half when he fired inches wide from a tight angle.

Cardiff were ahead three minutes after the restart when Andy Legg's fine pass found Jason Bowen inside the box and he stroked the ball home.

They doubled their advantage on the hour mark when Kwame Ampadu brought down Mark Bonner and Campbell converted from the penalty spot.

In injury time Leo Fortune West headed the third.

Exeter: Miller, McConnell, Pilkington, Buxton, Hiley, Ampadu, Cronin, Pettefer, Barnard, Flack, Coppinger. Subs: Fraser, Roscoe, Curran, Moor, Alcide.

Cardiff: Margetson, Green, Collins, Simpkins, Barker, Legg, Bonner, Hamilton, Bowen, Fortune-West, Campbell. Subs: Alexander, Boland, Maxwell, Thorne, Croft.

Referee: P Walton (Northamptonshire)
