Stoke swoop for Mooney
Birmingham striker Tommy Mooney has joined Stoke City on a three-month loan.

The 31-year-old has made only one substitute appearance in the Premiership.

He will go straight into Steve Cotterill's squad to face Burnley on Saturday.

Cotteril said: "We are delighted to get him. It gives us the lift we need and strengthens our attack.

"He is a hard-working player and he is certainly the type of player I would like to bring to the club on a permanent basis."

Stoke are struggling up front this season because of an injury to key man Chris Greenacre.
