Jamaica 3-0 India

Jamaica comfortably won the first football meeting between Jamaica and India.

The pair clashed at Watford's Vicarage Road and play each other again at Wolves' Molineaux Stadium.

Jermaine Anderson scored Jamaica's first in the 34th minute, firing home with a close-range volley.

Jamaica goalkeeper Aaron Lawrence scored the second goal from the penalty spot in the 69th minute after India's Tomba Singh clattered into Roland Dean in the box.

Five minutes from time, Ian Goodison added Jamaica's third, collecting Dean's freekick before slotting home.

India had few chances in the match, but captain Bhaichung Bhutia had a goal disallowed for offside in the 11th minute.

The Bury player also made India's other best attempt 10 minutes later when his shot deflected over the bar.
