Jones wins boss award
Wolves boss Dave Jones
Jones looks certain to lead Wolves back to the top flight
Dave Jones' perfect record with Wolves with six wins out of six saw him claim February's Division One Nationwide Manager of the Month.

A perfect 18 points put Wolves back to the top of the First Division, five points clear of second placed Manchester City.

Jones won the award back in September following five wins from six games which also saw them go top.

We have aimed for the top from the first day of the season and we are now aiming for the championship
Wolves boss Dave Jones
Wolves are now 10 points ahead of third-placed West Brom and the play-off places and look odds-on for a return to the top flight for the first time in 18 years.

A delighted Jones said: "Everyone at the club has pulled together and worked brilliantly.

"It has been a huge team effort and at this stage of the season it is great to have won six Nationwide League matches on the bounce.

"We have aimed for the top from the first day of the season and we are now aiming for the championship."

Port Vale boss Brian Horton
Horton won Division Two award
Port Vale's Brian Horton is the Nationwide League Second Division Manager of the Month.

Vale went on an unbeaten run throughout the month which was ended in February's final game at Northampton on Tuesday.

Horton's team had won four and drawn the other one of their previous five games during the month.

Vale's most impressive scoreline in February was an impressive 4-1 home victory over Chesterfield.

Plymouth's Paul Sturrock is also celebrating his third Nationwide Manager of the Month award of the season.

The Pilgrims lost to Third Division promotion rivals Luton at the beginning of the month, but five straight wins have taken them 10 points clear.

In the Conference, Northwich's Jimmy Quinn gets the award for the second time this season.
