Di Canio's a happy Hammer
Di Canio insists he is content to stay at West Ham
Di Canio insists he is content to stay at West Ham
Paolo Di Canio's agent insists he is happy at West Ham - as Fulham insisted they had not made a £2.5m move for the Italian.

Di Canio was at the centre of speculation linking him with a move to Craven Cottage.

But his representative Matteo Roggi insists Di Canio is staying at Upton Park.

He said: "I spoke to Paolo and he was at home watching TV and relaxing. He's more than happy at West Ham.

"Paolo loves the club and wants to be helpful to the club in any way he can. Paolo knows he can be important for the club, especially at the moment.

"He knows that, being one of the top players, the club needs his help."

Fulham rejected claims that they had made an offer for Di Canio, with spokesman Sarah Brookes confirming: "There has been no dialogue between Fulham and West Ham."
