Cherries hold below-par Plymouth
Plymouth 0-0 Bournemouth
Plymouth Argyle and Bournemouth's pre-season friendly at Home Park ended in stalemate on Friday. French trialist Mickael Sarreau and fellow countryman David Friio both went close in the first half. However, the Cherries looked better after the interval, with goalkeeper Romain Larrieu forced to make several impressive saves at point-blank range. But Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock told the club's website: "That was probably the worst performance in pre-season."
