1 MARK GOODLAD (Goalkeeper)
Consistent first-choice keeper who has established himself since arriving in 1999.

2 DEAN DELANEY (Goalkeeper)
Former Republic of Ireland under-21 international who was given his chance recently after an injury to Goodlad. Biding his time as Goodlad's understudy.

2 MATT CARRAGHER (Defender)
Attacking right-back who has shown experience far above his years in some of his performances.

3 ALLEN TANKARD

Allen Tankard is a consistent performer

One of Port Vale's longest-serving players who usually turns out at left-back but has played in midfield. Always turns in a whole-hearted performance and is a key player for Brian Horton's side.

6 SAGI BURTON (Defender)
The man with the longest name in football, Sagi Burton is the short version, is impressive in the air and a powerful presence for strikers to contend with.

20 PAUL DONNELLY (Defender)
Youth team recruit. Comfortable at right-back and beginning to feature in the senior squad.

5 MICHAEL WALSH

Michael Walsh is a long-throw expert

Long throw specialist who can play almost anywhere along the back line. Always seen as a crucial man in the Vale line-up. Joined Vale for 100,000 from Scunthorpe in June 1998.

19 ALEX SMITH (Utility)
Left-sided player who appears at full-back, in midfield or as a winger. Always involved in the game and a threat to the opposition.

8 MICHAEL CUMMINS (Midfield)
Another ex-Republic of Ireland international, he has a strong tackle and a fierce shot and has flourished at Vale Park.

11 TOMMY WIDDRINGTON (Midfielder)
eft-sided player who can also play at the back. He is hard-working and committed in the tackle and popular with the fans.

15 MARC BRIDGE-WILKINSON
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson is a goal threat
(Midfielder)
A goal-scoring midfielder who earned his place in the club's history with the penalty which knocked out Stoke in the northern semi-final. Started his career with Derby County and had a loan at Carlisle.

17 NEIL BRISCO (Midfielder)
Yet another versatile player on the club's books who can play at the back or in the middle. Signed from Manchester City in 1998.

14 RICHARD EYRE (Midfielder)
Right winger who has come up through the club's ranks and been involved in the senior squad since Brian Horton took over.

18 GEORGE O'CALLAGHAN (Midfielder)
Another homegrown product who contributes his share of goals from the middle of the park.

23 MICHAEL TWISS (Striker )
A player forced out by the queue ahead of him to get into the team at Manchester United. Has a good eye for goal.

10 TONY NAYLOR
Tony Naylor
Tony Naylor is Vale's key man in attack

Experienced player who keeps banging in the goals for Vale who he joined seven years ago. This season's leading scorer and can cause problems for any defence. Cost Vale 150,000 when he joined from Crewe seven years ago.

25 STEPHEN BROOKER (Striker)
Recent signing from Watford and has been given his chance in the first team.

RICHARD BURGESS (Striker)
Deadline day signing from non-League Bromsgrove Rovers. Big things are expected of him at Vale Park.

9 VILLE VILJANEN (Striker)
Ex-Finnish international who has scored some spectacular goals in the past.
