Bradford in talks with Locke

Gary Locke is negotiating personal terms with Bradford
Former Hearts captain Gary Locke is discussing personal terms with Bradford City with a view to signing on at Valley Parade.

Locke looks set to join former boss Jim Jefferies after being granted an early release from his contract by Hearts.

The Edinburgh side have agreed to let their former captain leave on a free transfer.

Tynecastle spokesman Douglas Dalgleish said: "He has been a great servant to the club, so we are not going to get fussy over the last couple of months of his contract."

Locke could make his debut against Arsenal at Highbury on Tuesday.

Bradford lie bottom of the English Premiership but fought out a battling 0-0 draw at the weekend with second-placed Sunderland.
