Briton Richard Kruse retains Copenhagen World Cup title

Kruse upset the world rankings to retain his title in Copenhagen

Great Britain number one Richard Kruse began his 2010 campaign by defending his Copenhagen World Cup series title.

Kruse, who went into the foil A Grade competition fifth in the world, beat world number four Radoslaw Glonek 15-8.

Elsewhere, Jon Willis won the epee A grade at Kish Island in Iran, beating Ali Yaghoobian 15-13 in the final.

In the cadets Tom Edwards won the epee title at Dinart in Belgium, while Philip Marsh came third in the epee at the Friedrickshafen event in Denmark.
