Devon's Heather Knight gets England call for Sri Lanka

Devon's Heather Knight has been awarded a place in the England women's squad on their forthcoming tour of Sri Lanka.

Since making her England debut against India in March, the 19-year-old from Plymouth has gone on to play seven one-day internationals.

Knight, who is a specialist batter, has an international average of 29.57, with a highest score of 49.

The England women's team are scheduled to play two one-day internationals and three Twenty20 matches in Sri Lanka.

The first tour match is in Colombo on Sunday, 14 November, with the last being held on Monday 22 November.
