TWITTER
TMS reporter Ali Mitchell will be blogging from the boundary during the 2008 summer of cricket. You can read all of her blogs here:
In addition, the status reports which appear in the speech bubble on the right-hand side of the blog normally come from Ali via Twitter, a tool which allows users to keep their friends updated with text message-style reports on where they are and what they are doing.
This style of updates has been described as "micro-blogging". Jaiku offers a similar service and status updates are also available on Facebook.

FLICKR
The photographs on the right-hand side of the blog are coming from Flickr, which is a photo-hosting website which made a name for itself by allowing users to see other users' photographs and by the use of tagging. Other photo sharing sites include Fotki, Picassa, Photobucket and Photobox.
