West Indies have called up Darren Bravo, the younger brother of all-rounder Dwayne, for the forthcoming one-day series against India. Both Bravos were named in a 13-man squad for the first two games in Jamaica on 26 and 28 June. Darren, 20, scored over 600 runs for Trinidad and Tobago in domestic four-day cricket earlier this year. There is no place for fast bowler Fidel Edwards, who suffered a back problem during the World Twenty20 in England. Batsman Lendl Simmons and all-rounder Kieron Pollard have been left out of the squad and replaced by Runako Morton and Narsingh Deonarine. West Indies will play four 50-overs matches against India, the final two in St Lucia on 3 and 5 July.
West Indies squad: C Gayle (capt), L Baker, Darren Bravo, Dwayne Bravo, S Benn, D Bernard, S Chanderpaul, N Deonarine, R Morton, D Ramdin, R Rampaul, R Sarwan, J Taylor.
