Afridi stars in one-sided match
Tour match, St John's: Pakistan 366-7 beat Antigua & Barbuda President's XI 118 by 248 runs

A whirlwind century and a four-wicket haul by Shahid Afridi spurred Pakistan to a comprehensive 248-run win over an Antigua & Barbuda President's XI.

It was an easy workout for the tourists in their only warm-up for the one-day series aganist West Indies.

Afridi, who opened the innings, hit a typically aggressive 104 off just 46 balls which included eight sixes.

It spurred the tourists to a massive 366-7 off their 50 overs. The hosts were then bowled out for 118.

Afridi took 4-6 off 6.4 overs to help bundle out the home side in 32.4 overs.

In his innings, he played some amazing shots, including a wristy flick off pacer Ricky Christopher out of the ground into the nearby churchyard at St John's, and a drive over cover off the same bowler for another six.

Yousuf Youhana added 87 off 79 balls with seven fours and three sixes.

Youhana and vice-captain Younis Khan, who made 53 from 83 balls with three fours, added 117 for the fourth wicket.

The local side's batting performance was poor. Only all-rounder Wilden Cornwall, with 46 from 44 balls had a score of any significance.

The Pakistanis travel to St Vincent to play West Indies in the first of three one-day internationals on Wednesday.
