Pakistan coach Javed Miandad blamed wayward bowling for their five-run defeat by India in the first one-day international in Karachi.
The hosts conceded 10 wides and 20 no-balls as India made 347-9 and then fell short in the final over.
"I think they (the bowlers) need to sort it out personally. No-balls and wides are not good in one-day cricket."
Miandad praised Inzamam ul-Haq who hit a rapid 122: "Inzy took responsibility, he took the game on his shoulders."
"As our most experienced batsman he was guiding other partners," said Miandad.
Inzamam, whose innings took just 104 balls and hauled Pakistan back into the match, said the result was moire important than his contribution.
"If the team had won this game it would have been one of the best innings I
have played."
He backed his decision to ask India to bat after winning the toss: "Moisture was there on the wicket so I thought we could get some quick
wickets."
