Chance to Shine have teamed up with the MCC to launch MCC Spirit of Cricket Summer Camps at selected venues throughout England. Each camp will have two England women's players coaching on the course, to encourage and inspire girls to play cricket. Camps are being held at the following venues: 28-30th July - Welbeck Colliery Cricket Club, Mansfield 4-6th August - Barnsley Cricket Club 12-14th August - Victoria Park, London 25-27th August - Exeter Cricket Club, Devon The camps, held over three days and aimed at both boys and girls aged eight to 12, are open to all levels of ability. At just £20 for the three-day course the camps are a great way to spend your summer holidays, and will provide every child with the opportunity to: • Take part in fun and enjoyable activities • Win exciting prizes each day • Take part in a Kwik cricket tournament on the final day • Meet a professional cricketer Every child will receive a bag of cricket goodies which will include: baseball cap, certificate of participation, T-shirt and a personal report on how they have progressed over the three days.
