Nottinghamshire have confirmed that Trent Bridge will host a Twenty20 international match between England and the West Indies in 2012. The ground will also host a Test match between the two sides, and a one-day game between South Africa and England. Nottinghamshire chief executive Derek Brewer said: "We're pleased with the programme we have secured for 2012. "Competing with other venues for the right to stage international matches is very challenging." He added: "We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the West Indian team during the ICC World Twenty20. "I hope that cricket supporters in the region will see a Twenty20 international match against England at Trent Bridge as a very exciting prospect." The ground will also host the second of England's four Test matches against India in 2011, in addition to a one-day international game against Sri Lanka.
