Kiwis delighted by decisive win
Mark Gillespie takes a brilliant catch to dismiss Ed Joyce
New Zealand's fielding in the deep was spectacular at times
New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori insisted his side were "back on the wagon" after registering their first win of the CB Series in Australia.

Jacob Oram and Shane Bond both took their 100th one-day wicket as the Kiwis beat England by 90 runs in Adelaide.

"Hopefully there's more to come," said Vettori, who had figures of 4-24.

"Beating Australia would be nice in the next game, but we've got to keep beating England if we want to make the finals," said Vettori.

It took an innings of 86 from Jacob Oram, who has only just rejoined the squad following an injury lay-off, to see New Zealand to a total of 210.

Skipper Stephen Fleming admitted his side had been struggling to come to terms with the pace of the pitches and he was surprised their score had been enough .

"This one flattered to deceive - you're usually thinking high 200s at the Adelaide Oval,"

"It's not often you get 210 and a bonus point - the quality of the win was very good. We're not a bad side when we are fully fit but I thought we were gonna be a long way off."

He continued: "In the last four games I don't think batting against the new ball has been easy. Wickets have been falling and it has taken some resurgence or some semblance of form from the middle order to get a score."

Fleming praised his bowlers, who were well supported by the fielders, with Mark Gillespie and Nathan Astle both taking superb catches in the deep.

"We've got a four-pronged attack and can use Shane Bond and Daniel Vettori in a more attacking way - it's nice as a captain to have those attacking options and more concentration was probably the key to our improved fielding display," he said.
