Lifelong cricket fans, Manish Bhasin and Rishi Persad, are to be the new faces of the BBC's cricket coverage.
Bhasin and Persad are familiar faces on BBC Sport coverage
Bhasin will present highlights of the Ashes - at about 2320 GMT each night on BBC2 - and next year's World Cup.
Persad will present coverage of the one-day international series and report from the World Cup in the Caribbean.
"They'll bring an exciting fresh approach to the return of cricket to BBC Television," said BBC director of sport Roger Mosey.
Bhasin is best known as the presenter of Football Focus while Persad is a presenter and reporter for BBC's coverage of horse racing.
Expert studio analysis and discussion will be provided by stars such as Richie Benaud, Tony Greig, Geoffrey Boycott and Jonathan Agnew.
BBCi, available via the red button in digital TV, will carry Ashes highlights from 2200 GMT each night, followed by Test Match Special audio commentary when the next day's play begins.
