With just about the coollest address for a cricket ground - Vulture Street, Woolloongabba, Queensland, the 'Gabba' hosts the start of the Test series.
About 42,000 will be crammed into the radically modernised ground when the captains toss up on 23 November.
Scene of the tied Test of 1960-61, between Australia and West Indies, it also staged the first Twenty20 international in Australia.
It now provides excellent wickets for Tests, and Shane Warne loves it.
Inside track: "The Gabba is probably the quickest and bounciest pitch in Australia" - Former Australia and Queensland batsman Stuart Law.

Barmy Army tip: If you need a reminder of the damage the sun can do in these parts, just check out the sun-ravaged farmers who roll into town for the Test.
England's record here: A brilliant Ian Botham century inspired a seven-wicket win to kick off the successful 1986-87 Ashes defence, but three losses and a draw have followed.
