England cricketer Simon Jones has been voted the ninth sexiest man in the world following a poll of more than 10,000 readers of a women's magazine.
Jones is the top sportsman in the New Woman list, three ahead of Arsenal's French striker Thierry Henry.
Perhaps more significantly, he is two places ahead of perennial favourite George Clooney, the American actor.
Welshman Jones, 27, was one of England's key bowlers during the successful Ashes campaign last summer.
He missed the Pakistan tour late last year with an injured bone spur in his foot, but is back in England's ranks for the upcoming trip to India.
The New Woman list, headed by Brad Pitt, also includes one other Ashes star in Andrew Flintoff, who is 54th.
According to website Life Style Extra, Jones "has transformed women's interest in the summer sport with his chiselled jaw and testosterone."
