Solanki is unlikely to use his reverse sweep against Shoaib

England's Vikram Solanki is relishing the prospect of facing Shoaib Akhtar in the one-day series in Pakistan.
They were team-mates at Worcestershire last summer and Solanki said: "Shoaib is a very interesting character - quite a unique type of guy.
"Changing from 90 miles an hour to slower deliveries was quite impressive. He has exceptional talent."
Pace bowler Shoaib was the star of Pakistan's 2-0 Test series victory, taking 17 wickets in the three games.
But his stint with Worcestershire was far less successful and he came in for criticism from club chairman John Elliott.
He questioned Shoaib's attitude and added: "It's all about team spirit and getting the dressing room right and when you've got a bloke like Shoaib in there, it can cause mayhem."
Solanki described Elliott's comments as "unfortunate".
He said: "Shoaib has obviously worked very hard on his fitness and bowled exceptionally well in the Tests."
Michael Vaughan's withdrawal from the England one-day squad has given Solanki an excellent chance of adding to his 41 one-day caps.
He made an unbeaten 53 against Australia at The Oval in his last appearance, but did so batting at number eight.
And he is hoping for a return to the upper order in Pakistan as he looks to improve an England average of 27.
"I am just pleased to be here - it's fantastic to be part of the squad.
"Obviously, I'd like to play a full part and make best use of the opportunity," he added.
